Aleutians Spill Control, Inc.

Aleutians Spill Control, Inc. is an Alaska corporation based in Anchorage. ASCI provides prevention, tracking, compliance and response for non-tank vessels transiting the Aleutian Islands region of Western Alaska. ASCI provides resources to contain, control, and clean up petroleum spills. We have resources and equipment packaged for rapid transport via land, water, or air on Adak Island in the far western Aleutians. No other spill response company can match ASCI’s readiness to respond in this region.

In addition, and perhaps most importantly, ASCI owns a state-of-the-art Vessel Tracking, Response Analysis and Compliance program known as VTRAC. With VTRAC, ASCI stands head and shoulders above the competition in our ability to prevent issues before they arise, drive compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as mobilize responses to protect life, the environment, wildlife, and property in the event of an incident on water.

ASCI is the exclusive provider of vessel tracking and OSRO services to Alaska Response Company, LLC, which hold a U.S. Coast Guard approved OPA 90 Alternative Planning Criteria Plan for vessels transiting the Aleutians / West Alaska on the North Pacific Great Circle Route. All ASCI and ARC Agreements are fully approved by the International Group of P&I Clubs’ VRP Working Group.
